Success story: Improving the management of all refineries
Large energy company with activities in the prospecting, production, transport and refining of oil and gas.
- The project was implemented in the Downstream area, specifically in the Refining Division.
- After an internal diagnosis process, the company concluded that it must transform its organizational model, which has remained largely unchanged for many years, and to do this it was necessary to develop a new model and direct its implementation in the refineries.
- To design and implement the model we analysed the fieldwork in all the refineries, in the Production and Maintenance areas.
- We created working groups to contribute to the detailed design of the new model.
- We implemented the model in all the refineries of the Company.
- Very significant savings were achieved in operating costs.
