Large company in the energy sector. It has 24.6 million customers, employing over 26,000 people.

The challenge

  • Containing the cost of medium and low voltage framework contracts, with overall savings of €20 M/year.

The solution

  • We simplified the administrative process with measures on the lamination of the workload, false starts and reduced waiting times.
  • We optimized work with a reduced administrative burden by simplifying the billing process, moving toward single payment per service, reducing the payment period and improving the management of the process.
  • We defined a new procurement model, which permitted a dual network of contractors in dense areas, simplifying the supplier pyramid.
  • Overall we managed to exceed the savings results envisaged in the project.
