This past monday, November 20th, the opening of the exhibition “Support home-Comfort home” took place at L’illa Diagonal, in Barcelona. This exhibit seeks to share with the public the 8 finalist projects entered into the competition to renovate a model apartment to offer supported housing for people with mental illness. 

Until December 3rd, the first floor of the shopping center L’illa Diagonal will hosts the graphic exhibition of the 8 architectural designs developed by young architects. The competition was organized by the Fundació Malalts Mentals de Catalunya (FMMC), with the collaboration of Alfa Consulting.

This initiative, framed within our Alfa Solidaria program (dedicated to promoting solidarity projects), aimed to improve the housing facilities managed by FMMC, a charitable foundation that works with people with mental illness. The renovation proposals needed to be able to help enhance the social life, dignity and self-sufficiency of the residents, with the maximum comfort possible.
