This week Alfa Consulting hosted the 5th YPN (Young Professionals Network) international training with the topic “Design Thinking and Innovation“.

The two day training took place in Barcelona with the participation of other seven CWW partner firms: Oresys (France), Horváth & Partners (Germany), Key to Way (Korea), S. Point (China), Bonfiglioli Consulting (Italy), Twynstra Gudde (Netherlands) and the host, Alfa Consulting.

During the training the 3 teams worked on perfecting their innovation skills with a Design Thinking workshop. They put their skills to the test by coming up with ideas on how to get more visitors to a museum. With this activity the participants were able to apply their expertise to the challenge, and it also helped them build understanding and alignment among each other.

By the end of the interactive training, all of them were able to apply the Design Thinking 5 step process: empathize, define a problem, ideate, rapidly prototype, and test the solutions, all while having fun.
