Improving customer care and operations without increasing stock levels

The challenge

Business group in the petrochemical and power sectors, and one of the major worldwide gas distributors. Its lines of business encompass the whole oil industry chain.

In order to improve its operations, it was indispensable to increase productivity and the service levels of production lines without carrying out new investments. Customer care services also needed to be improved, without increasing the existing stock levels, while focusing management towards upholding global service levels.

We also worked on optimizing and redistributing the roles and responsibilities of operators and middle management, as well as strengthening coordination between Blending and Packaging lines.
