Redesign the most efficient Route-To-Market strategy

The challenge

Food product distribution company with its own channel and high delivery costs. A joint venture was created with another company in the food industry in order to make the most of the distribution network and lower global costs.

The extent of activity of the new company was defined in relation to geographic coverage and consensuated portfolio, designing the most adequate distribution model (route-to-market) by combining own resources with externalized distributors. Logistical material needs and HR processes to support the distribution model were also defined, as well the organizational structure of the new company and the contribution of each partner. Lastly, Alfa Consulting accompanied the new company in its operational implementation processes.
