Moving forward towards a new sales model

The challenge

The oldest pharmaceutical and chemical company in the world, based in Germany but with a significant global presence. It is a leading company in innovative, top-quality and high tech products in the domains of healthcare, life sciences and performance materials. It employs approximately 39,000 people in 66 countries, with a total turnover of 11.5 trillion euros in 2014.

The company was undergoing a process of profound change, and hence the sales team needed to transform and adapt its concepts and business strategies in order to be aligned with the company’s global strategy.

Alfa Consulted helped them design a product repositioning plan by means of an increase of added value, with the goal of maximizing profits and boosting sales. We then established a rolldown plan and expanded the project to other countries in the region.
