Design of the operational teleprocessing model

The challenge

Our client is one of the major power companies in Spain. It is structured along different lines of business: Generation, Grid, Energy and Services. It has a total installed capacity of 39,642 MW, generates 137,054 GWh annually, and provides service to more than 11 million customers.

The company needed to delineate a Teleprocessing Implementation Plan and establish contracting and contractor management strategies.

To achieve this, we at Alfa Consulting drew up the planning and implementation of strategic decisions and monitoring of risk factors. We also measured the internal and external resources for preparation and teleprocessing, defined deployment strategies and the necessary capacities for each geographic region, with the creation of 108 scopes of deployment. We defined the logistical needs and carried out an analysis of teleprocessing impact in the systems in order to implement a new model of material management.
